The Bladwin County Seat was established here in 1868. The court house was built in 1887. In 1901 a group of men from Bay Minette {the current county seat} raided here and stole the county records and transported them to Bay Minette. From 1907 to 1940 this was the site of the Normal State School, grades 1 thru 12 for white students only. The school closed but the old school house was used as a theater and vacation center for teachers. The old school was eventual torn down and the Nicholson Center was built in 1967 as a community center and still still used for that purpose today. You are looking for a container with a log only.
