Geocache Description:

We've never seen a kayak letterbox trail so we created one for your enjoyment. This is in a shallower section of the River and could potentially be waded to.

When we placed our Final Letterbox on Oak Orchard cache, we really did intend for it to be the last letterbox.  We have gotten such good feedback from everyone and some great help in maintaining all the caches (much appreciated) that we figured why not keep going and really put Orleans County on the map!  This is a Letterbox Series-one for each letter of the alphabet.  Each contains a stamp and if you choose to you should bring a stamp pad and your personal book to stamp. Otherwise just sign the log book and move on to the next.  All stamps are to be left in the caches.

Kayak and canoe rentals available near the take-out coords, but they don't offer shuttle service.

To do this stretch of caches we parked at N 43 20.177 W 078 14.329

and then proceeded down the hill to the launch at N 43 20.251 W 078 14.375

We took out at the bridge that was removed at N 43 21.197 W 078 11.545

Another possible free launch/takeout site downstream is at Point Breeze N 43 22.269 W 078 11.496

These caches are not accessible from upstream where our earlier placed caches are - there is a WATERFALL and a DAM in between.

This cache is a large size bucket and is full of Happy Meal type toys for the kids-please just take one-no trades needed.
