Waste water pumping stations form a major element of sewerage services and are required to lift sewage from a lower to higher level to assist normal gravity-flow towards the sewage treatment plant. In some Queensland communities, sewerage networks rely solely on gravity but this is rare and most towns rely on pumping stations. There are more than 3500 sewage pumping stations of all sizes across the state.
The GZ is located just off Goldmine Road in the suburb of Ormeau. There is a bus stop located very close to the site so please use discretion when looking for the cache. You are looking for a micro sized bison tube container that has a logbook only inside - please BYO pen. Also be sure to return the cache to its original hiding location after you have found it. Enjoy!
