This is a small local cemetery with a rich history. Its known locally as the unknown soldier. In it stands a life size statue of Pvt. Everett C. Burton who at just 23 was killed during the Battle of the Argonne Forest during WW1 in October 1918. This battle lasted 47 days ans 26, 277 men were killed and 95, 786 were wounded. In 2011 the statue was destroyed by someone who was never found. Since then the statue has been repaired so please be respectful to Pvt. Burton and the others their.
This is a nano it is not on or around any graves so please be very respectful of the cemeterys property. This cemetery is open 7am-7pm daily. Please do not go at night.
