This is a small cache containing a logbook, pen and trinkets and is accessible by land or sea. It is cleverly disguised but a clever geocacher should have no problem identifying the camouflage. The coordinates will get you close, your instincts will do the rest.

Captain John's's Adventures:
Captain John is the town's sole mariner since the return of the pirates. Braving pirate infested waters, Captain John specializes in smuggling goods to the town folk. Most days you will find him at his secret spot unless he is out on one of his adventures...
This cove is a safe and serene watering hole where the pelicans, turtles and fish (and Captain John) come to escape. Captain John has a way with the animals and they know he will do no harm. As the pelicans perch on his hidden boats and the turtles and fish frolic, Captain John sits on the dock planning his next trip into the treacherous open waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay.
So as you search this beautiful hidden cove, remember not to disturb the animals or make too much noise. We can't have the pirates finding Captain John's secret hideaway.
