Geocache Description:

At 11,788 feet, Arc Dome is the highest point in the Toiyabe mountain range in central Nevada. It is one of the most prominent landmarks in the central Great Basin, with 5,213 feet of prominence (which ranks 8th in the state of Nevada) and can be seen from countless peaks in Nevada.

While Arc Dome may be climbed in a day from the edge of the Wilderness Area, it is popular to make it an "overnighter" as camping high on the Toiyabe crest can be an unforgettable experience for the lover of the outdoors. The standard route consists of a decent trail which winds through stands of Aspen and Limber Pine before exiting onto a wide plateau overlooking thousands of square miles of scenery. After a mild downhill, the peak is climbed via switchbacks from the north.

You are looking for a small tin hidden near the summit, but not with the summit register.
