This cache is placed in the Riserva Naturale Bosco della Ficuzza.
The Real Casina di Caccia is a royal palace, located in the village of Ficuzza. It was built from 1799 for King Ferdinand III of Sicily, who wanted it as a summer hunting estate. Ferdinand de Bourbon lived here uninterruptedly from 1810 to 1813. The project was drawn up by the royal architect Carlo Chenchi, with changes made by the architect Giuseppe Venanzio Marvuglia, who followed the work started in 1802 and completed in 1807. The building has a rectangular plant with neoclassical lines of the Sicilian architecture. It is dominated by the sculptures of the god Pan and the goddess Diana, with the Bourbon coat of arms in the centre. On the left there is a large wall clock. Today it is managed by the Forestry Department of the Sicilian Region. The palace was reopened to the public in April 2009. On August 3rd, 2013, the Region of Sicily set up the "Multimedia Museum of Ficuzza" where it is highlighted the enormous biodiversity of the park and the story of Ferdinand IV of Bourbon during his stay in Ficuzza.

La Real Casina di Caccia è un palazzo reale, sito nella frazione di Ficuzza. Fu costruita a partire dal 1799 per il re Ferdinando III di Sicilia, che la volle come tenuta estiva di caccia. Ferdinando di Borbone vi visse ininterrottamente dal 1810 al 1813. Il progetto venne redatto dall'architetto regio Carlo Chenchi, con modifiche apportate dall'architetto Giuseppe Venanzio Marvuglia, che seguì i lavori iniziati nel 1802 e terminati nel 1807. L'edificio ha pianta rettangolare con prospetto dalle linee neoclassiche dell'architettura siciliana, sovrastato dalle sculture del dio Pan e della dea Diana con al centro lo stemma borbonico. Sulla sinistra nella facciata vi è un grande orologio murale. Oggi è gestita dal Corpo forestale della Regione siciliana. Il palazzo è stato riaperto al pubblico nell'aprile 2009. Il 3 agosto 2013 la Regione Siciliana ha voluto utilizzare la struttura per istituire il "Museo multimediale del bosco di Ficuzza" dove viene messa in risalto l'enorme biodiversità del parco e la storia di Ferdinando IV di Borbone durante la sua permanenza a Ficuzza.
