Geocache Description:

An easy hike. Where the green trail intersects with the blue trail.

This cache was placed for the event: LRCT Meet & Greet taking place on August 21.  http://coord.info/GC5Z0KJ

If you walk along the Shannon Pond dam you will come to a kiosk. The green blazed trail is the Lower Bridle Path. The blue blazed trail is the Oak Ridge Trail. At the intersection of these two trial is the cache. No need to move any rocks!

The container is an old German butter dish, purchased at an Army surplus store.

And then, if you wish, you can choose a nearby view with an older cache as another destination.

Parking for hikers (and geocachers) is free at the gate on Ossipee Park Road; the road to the bottling plant. But, if you have never toured the Castle in the Clouds it is worth the fee, and you would enter for that on Brook Road.
