Athene Noctua At Luffy's View Traditional Cache

These are three caches in a row that are part of the Athene Noctua series. All Athene Noctua caches can be done individually and in any order you prefer. Athene Noctua caches are not difficult to find as geocaching should be a way to enjoy unexpected landscapes, views and abandoned buildings, without having to search in the burning sun for yet another addition to your list of finds. The only challenge might be the later growth of weeds and vegetation after we placed the caches. 

The three caches are all located near the Aphrodite Hills resort where we live at Athene Noctua. However, there is no need to enter the resort and pass security, as it is private property. But you can at the end of the trail, where the dirt path that leads you past the Aphrodite Hills riding school onto a tarmac road. The three caches are outside the resort on the other side of the riding school and are situated on the plateaus overlooking the valley towards Alektra.

The approach is best made from one of the old roads from Alektra to Kouklia. Parts of the dirt track are bumpy so we recommend a four wheel drive. There is absolutely no need to go near the edge of the cliffs as the caches are placed well away from the edges in safe places. You will find the first cache in the series of three near the white booster station and they can all be reached by car or with a very short walk.
