This beautiful garden is a nice example of a "Pollinator Garden" Birds, bats, bees, butterflies, beetles, and other small mammals that pollinate plants are responsible for bringing us one out of every three bites of food. They also sustain our ecosystems and produce our natural resources by helping plants reproduce. Without the actions of pollinators agricultural economies, our food supply, and surrounding landscapes would collapse. For more info see www.pollinator.org. Also visit other pollinator gardens in the area: the Rain Garden on the south side of the library in Cadillac on Lake Street, the Garden for Wings in McBain located just east of the High School, and the Missaukee Conservation District garden at 6180 W. Sanborn Rd. in Lake City. Be kind to the plants and flowers; we need them. .
