Grady for the Farrars Traditional Cache

Another interesting place in North Central Ellis County.  You should be able to park adequately and safely. GZ is on public property; however, do not go past the fence. Owner will not take kindly to trespassers!

This school was located just south of the fence line near where you are standing.  The Farrar family owned the land all around here, and the small craftsman home to the northeast is an original Farrar homestead.  The Farrar family descendants still reside and farm in this area, today, though their acreage, while quite large, is not nearly as vast as it was in the 19th through mid-20th century.
