The lagoon that houses the Aquatic Park (Sailing Club) is a popular spot for anchoring as it is a well sheltered spot. The only downside is the smell and noise from the Cormorant colony, especially if the wind is blowing from the west.
There are shoals on the east and west sides of the channel, which is marked by red and green bouys. There is also a faded speed advisory sign on the east side.
The cache was placed from the tender of our sailboat, which was on a mooring ball at the sailing club. It should be easy to access even on a windy day as the area is well sheltered from the wind, except if blowing from the SW.
