In September of 2013 I held an informal "how to geocache" event with a few interested people from our church. SamBamFam and a few others came to the event, which I hosted at Barfield Park. SamBamFam got the geocaching bug, as well as the rest of his family. (So it's my fault.) Now almost 2 years later he and his family have completed over 1,000 finds, and I've had the pleasure of caching together with them on a dedicated trip or two. A few of you have met SamBamFam and his family at a few recent caching events. SamBamFam has been recently working on boosting his FTF metrics, so for all you FTF hounds out there you have some new competition.
As the cacher responsible for his family's new addiction, I am honored to be the one hosting this celebratory event.
We will meet in the central food court area of Stones River Mall from 6:30PM - 7:30PM. This is informal, so feel free to drop by, extend your congratulations to SamBamFam, swap stories, and issue any new personal challenges. Bring any TBs you want others to discover or move on. Food is available in the court area if you need a bite to eat, but it is not required.
Of course, if you haven't attended an event for the 2015 Roadtrip geocaching challenge, this is one of your last opportunities to get that souvenir!
