This cache is located at the Lyons Gulch Waterfalls. Take Lyons Gulch Trail 447. There is parking at the trailhead. Not accessible in winter.
Enjoy a short ¼ mile hike to some small, beautiful waterfalls. The path is a good clear path with some elevation climbs. Not too challenging.
While you are hiking, you will notice a wide swath of trees knocked down on your left. This was caused by a small tornado coming down the mountain in about 2005.
When you get to the falls, the path makes a V. The left will take you to the bottom where you can get a view of the falls. Continue on to the right and you can hike up to and on top of the falls. Check out the memorial plaque on a tree right next to the falls.
You are looking for a small camouflaged container. There is room for some small tradeables. Bring your own talking stick.
