Molyvos - malebné městečko se rozprostírá na kopci, který se příkře zvedá z pobřežní roviny. Na jeho vrcholu trůní hrad ze 14. století a směrem k moři stojí kamenné domky tradiční architektury těsně jeden vedle druhého stejně jako ve středověku. Téměř všechny jednopatrové budovy jsou chráněny UNESCO jako architektonické památky. Během dne úchvatný výhled z vrcholu kopce, večer naopak na nasvícenou pevnost. Nejznámější turistické letovisko ostrova s mnoha tavernami, rybářskými restauracemi, bary, obchůdky a krásným přístavem. Delší úzké, převážně oblázkové pláže a čisté moře přímo vybízející ke koupání.

The town of Molyvos takes place on a hill which begins its rise modestly at the seashore. On the very top of the hill there lies a castle from the 14th century. It is guarded by stone houses of the traditional architecture. They stand close to each other just like in the Middle Ages. Nearly all of the one storey buildings are under UNESCO protection as architectonical monuments. During the day one can enjoy a amazing view from the top of the hill. At night there comes a stunning view of the illuminated castle. It is a well-known touristic resort of the island with many taverns, piscatorial restaurants, bars, shops and a beautiful harbour. Longer but narrower beaches, mostly covered by pebble stones, greatly encourage you to go swimming.
