Our Mom, Nettie, was the most adventerous and courageous woman we knew. She used to enter contests for solving crossword puzzles all the way back into the '70's. She would stay up half the night working on them. She was a planner and would have loved the planning for geocaching adventure days. When we went out on our boat in the Summer, Moma would plan everything. She planned out the entire day, down to which cove we would eat our lunch at, and what lunch would be for us to eat. She would pack the cooler with Chippy Dippy Squares, all of our favorite potato chips, favorite sandwiches, and our favorite drinks. We encountered the occassional water moccasin that my silly Daddy thought he could run over with the boat earning some eye cutting from Moma. Our Moma fought to the very end, she passed away of pancreatic cancer a year ago, 08/13/2014. She fought for over 3 years. We can't begin to explain how much she would have loved geocaching. She would have a route planned, snacks, drinks, and puzzles solved. We have a long history with fairies, we even got matching fairy tattoos after she was diagnosed. She would be so honored to share her fairy paradise with all the people who come to pay their respect to her and enjoy her paradise. Please have a seat and take a moment to smile just for her. Congrats to Over-The-Hill-Gang for FTF.
