in our disclaimer.
Trowbarrow Local Nature Reserve is a dramatic place of past industrial quarrying, now a haven for wildlife, climbers and geologists! Please note the warnings on the signs at the entrances – that the site has many natural hazards and that you enter at your own risk. Be gentle searching - it is a Local Nature Reserve and a geological Site of Special Scientific Interest. No damage or collecting is allowed.
From the Trough, follow the path through the gate and out onto the floor of the quarry. Turn north and continue towards the far end. Please keep away from the foot of the Main Wall.
The cache site provides a good view of any climbers on the other side. Please be gentle searching and rehide well but without crushing the small plastic bottle under rocks!
