Sadie and Satchel, cache #12 on the Gizmo Trail are Leopard Geckos, my wife got because I wouldn't let her get a snake. Satchel is 14 years old and Sadie is 12. They eat live crickets for food and once in awhile some butter worms or horn worms...it's fun to watch them hunt their food (Sadie wiggles her tail)

One time when my wife was cleaning out their cages and had them in a box together, Sadie and Satchel apparently had some "fun time". A little while later we were surprised to see an egg in Sadie's terrarium! It turned out however that the egg was unfertilized and we didn't become Gecko Grandparents.

Fun Fact: Geckos can drop their tail as a defense mechanism. Satchel has lost his twice. Once when he got out of his terrarium and a cat was playing with him and once when a cat fell into his terrarium! They will grow back but not as nice as the original tail and you have to make sure they have lots to eat as their tail is the main place they store their fat.
