Geocache Description:

In the Domesday book, Folkingham was called “Folchingeham” which derives from the word “Folch” meaning sickle. We suggest you start your walk in Pickworth, getting to Folkingham about half way for refreshments before heading back towards Pickworth. There are a number of other caches you can collect along the way and a couple in Pickworth itself.

The walk is around 5 miles depending on which routes you take and which additional caches you collect along the way. We encountered sheep and cows on our route. The cows were between number 4 and 5 and the sheep just before the finish. We took a detour and avoided the cows when setting.

We suggest you park in Pickworth or near the church micro where there is space for 1 car. This is a 35mm pot in an obvious place.
