All Aboard Traditional Geocache

This is a cache that brings you to a historical structure in the heart of Norlina, NC. The cache is strategically placed to blend in with its surroundings. It is a log only cache so make sure you bring your own pen. There is parking available in front of the museum. Dont be afraid to get down and dirty for this one. Please place in the exact location that you find it.

Evidence of by-gone railroad days linger in the center of town as a former US Dept of Defense Hospital Car, built for the US Army in 1945,  now serves as the area's historic Railroad Museum. 

Today...it serves food for thought of the historical past. Donated by the U.S. Army Transportation Corps in 1976, it was revitalized by area civic groups soon after. It first saw service as the town's library for many years, and was recently dedicated as a museum.
