JessiShaffer- When I first won this container at the SEPAG Storms the Castle picnic, others seemed to be very happy for me including many that I didn’t even know. But they shouldn’t have been. Why? Because I’m kinda a jerk.
I had no interest in hiding my first cache. I groaned and accepted my prize. I didn’t even really think of it as a prize but more of an obligation being forced on me. I just thought “Darn these organizers for pulling my number!” Why? Because I’m kinda a jerk.
I took the container home and bitterly thought about where I might like to hide it. I could do a nice easy park and grab in a guardrail. Or maybe a lamp post cache in a parking lot? Nah. Why? Because I’m kinda a jerk.
But certainly I could keep it away from areas where muggles like to hang out for hours. I could put it well sheltered from view of a picnic area. I could keep it away from benches where they like to rest. Certainly could hide far away from view of anyone’s favorite fishing areas. I could, but I didn’t. Why? Because I’m kinda a jerk.
Well at least I would make sure that part of it is completely visible at a glance. I would hide it a place where you didn’t even have to leave the path. I would find a place that didn’t require any climbing of any kind. And that’s what I did. Why? Because I’m only kinda a jerk.
