Vrsta plaže: Stijene, šljunak, veće kamenje i betonske ploče
Marjan je simbol grada Splita, brdo, poluotok i park šuma smještena na zapadnom dijelu splitskog poluotoka. Tu se nalazi jedna od najstarijih plaža Spličana, plaža Bene.
Do plaže se ne može doći automobilom,jer je postavljena rampa na određeni dio Marjana pa od rampe morate pješke ili možete iz grada autobusom broj 12 koji vozi pokraj plaže, a u zadnje vrijeme i mali turistički vlakić ljeti prolazi tu turu nekoliko puta dnevno.
Bene je uglavnom stjenovita, uređena je i ima dosta dodatnog sadržaja. Za djecu je u moru postavljen tobogan, a odrasli se mogu zabavljati igrajući nogomet ili pak tenis.
Na plaži je postavljen toranj na kojem su iskusni spasitelji koji paze na vašu sigurnost. Iza plaže se nalazi i sportski centar gdje možete unajmiti razne rekvizite za sportove na vodi i na kopnu.
Za vrijeme velikih vrućina pronađite mjesto ispod krošnji borova koje će vam pružiti potrebnu hladovinu. U blizini plaže se nalaze kafić, kiosk sa hranom i pićem te restoran u kojem možete kušati razne dalmatinske specijalitete.

Marjan is the symbol of the town of Split. It is a hill, peninsula and a park forest located on the western part of the Split peninsula. Bene beach, one of the oldest beaches in Split, is located beneath Marjan.
A ramp barrier will stop you from driving your car to the beach, so you would have to walk one part of the way or take the bus number 12 which drives from the town and passes the beach. More recently you can also take the small tourist train which passes by several times a day.
There is a tower on the beach with experienced lifeguards watching over your safety. There is a sports center behind the beach where you can rent different sports prompts.
During great heats, find a spot beneath the pine tree tops which will offer you the much needed shade. There is a coffee bar near the beach, as well as a food and drinks kiosk and a restaurant in which you can savor different Dalmatian specialties.
