Geocache Description:

This is the 6th cache in the series taking you on an approximately 3 mile walk around the ex RAF North Witham, now known as Twyford Woods.

In September 1944 Glenn Miller and his orchestra played a concert at RAF North Witham as part of his tour of the UK bases. They had to play in their coats as it was so cold.
