Geocache Description:

On the shore next to Active Pass, Oyster Bay is a great place to swim, or watch the ferries sail past.

The cache is the size of a film can, so there is a log and a pencil, but no room for anything else. The container is waterproof, so please screw the lid back on complely. The difficulty is higher, as getting to the cache will always involve getting wet. On a very low tide you might only have to wade, but often a short swim will be required. Caution, as the current can be significant during a tide change.

There are often seals and herons on the nearby rocks, not to mention the abundant intertidal life. Garry oaks are threatened, so please be gentle with the plant life.
