Geocache Description:

In 1885 sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens rented an old inn in the town of Cornish to work. He returned every summer and eventually bought the place he named Aspet in 1892. He is best known for his public monuments, such as the Robert Gold Shaw Memorial near the State House in Boston. Recasts of many sculptures are scattered around the beautiful grounds of the estate. The site is just off NH 12A in Cornish. Admission is $7 but access to the cache is free after 5pm.

Not far from the parking lot is this hide. Just away from muggles in the parking area and the rangers in the admissions shed.  Coordinates were hard to establish but if you have taken more than a step away from the trail, you have gone too far. Not winter friendly.
