This the first cache from Chavez and Chica. The cache is a well hidden clear plastic container with a blue lid marked with geocaching.com on top and side. There is a log book, camera, and pencils for recording your visit.
Getting to the cache: The easiest way is to follow Sheridan Lake Road (or Drive depending on the map or sign) south from Rapid City until you reach South Victoria Road, which is at N 43° 59.383' W 103° 26.800'. Turn right onto the dirt road where you will see a brown Forest Service marker which reads 160. Follow this road, always taking the right fork, until you reach a parking spot at N 44° 00.917' W 103° 24.717'. At this spot you will see a sign that reads "No Motorized Vehicles". This is where the trail starts.
