The St. Michael Cemetery was established around 1880 by members of St. Michael Evangelical Lutheran Church. The church stood just to the south of the cemetery. The church closed about 1930. This cemetery is also known as the Forks cemetery, because of it`s location in the forks area between the Wapsipinicon and the Little Wapsipinicon rivers. "As always, Please be respectful, do not hunt at night, do not disturb mourners, and leave this peaceful and revered place in good condition. Remember to practice CITO, always. Thank you."
