Pällin voimalaitoksen rakentaminen aloitettiin vuonna 1949 ja viimeinen koneisto kytkettiin valtakunnan verkkoon elokuussa 1954. Pudotuskorkeutta on 14m ja tehoa 51MW. 

 

Kätkön talvilöydettävyys on varsin kyseenalainen.
