Stage one of the cache will leave you outside the garden entrance to Leinster House. Leinster House, a substantial georgain building, was formerly the home of the Duke of Leinster. It is now home to the Irish Oireachtas or government.
The Questions
Coordinates are a bit jumpy here but you should be standing to the right of the main gate as shown in the picture below. There is a notice board giving details of opening times. On the bottom right hand side of the board there are two small squares of different colours overlapping each other.
A= Number of letters in the names of the colours of these two squares
Looking inside the right hand side gate there is a glass security door for staff to pass through.
B = Number of harps on the glass door (blue background).
Stage two brings you on a short walk down the street to the Natural History Museum. Dubliners often refer to this as the 'dead zoo'.
The museum was built in 1856 for parts of the collection of the Royal Dublin Society. The building and collection were later passed to the Irish State.
The Museum's collection and building have changed little since Victorian times, and it is sometimes described as a "museum of a museum".
The question: As you stand on the street looking through the railings you can see a statue of a man.
C = Number of letters in the surname of the man
A few calculations now and you'll soon be on the way to the cache.
