Geocache Description:

Meteor Island (Fiascherino)

Fiascherino is first mentioned in a document dated 18 February 1235. From september 1913 till June 1914 DH Lawrence and Frieda von Richthofen were staying in the cottage Rose Gambroisier. The poet Paul Serrese Bertolani and Charles also loved the place. Fiascherino has two small but nice beaches that border channel of Lino.

The cache

Close to the beach there is a small island, which I have named Meteor Island because of the resemblance with a meteorite. That is to say: I think this is what a meteor could like like ;-) . Take care on the island. The rocks are really sharp. Find the big crater and you will find the cache. You are looking for a green waterproof cylinder. It is hidden in one of the cracks. Put the cache back the way you found it (or better if it was visible).

Though it can be really quiet here, there are also moments there are muggles around. So use stealth when needed…

Happy caching!
