Geocache Description:

"It's elementary my dear Watson!"  Although Sherlock Holmes never actually said that, everybody has heard it.  We thought it would be a good title seeing as how this cache is hidden at Watson Pond in Taunton.  Watson Pond is a great little park to go to; it has swimming, a playground, picnic areas and a nice little set of easy trails to hike.  Our family very much enjoys going there and we thought it would be fitting to hide our very first cache there (in fact, the very first cache we ever found was the original Watson Pond cache that was removed awhile ago).  The first stage in the cache (a micro) is a nod to the original and the second is a nice little hike to a lesser known area of the park.  Be aware that muggles can be plentiful near the first stage, but shouldn't be too much of an issue for the second one.  There is a crisp dollar bill for the first to find, as well as a treasure trove of trinkets including a trackable and a really cool Chinese (we think) coin.  If the park is closed, you can go down the street to the Lake Sabbatia Boat Ramp and park there, then take a short walk to the park.  You should NOT park on the street; there's been several bad accidents when people do that, and the police ticket pretty frequently.  Happy hunting!
