Geocache Description:

Jimmy Hoffa's Final Resting Place is a legendary hide by Sparkyfry and Seeingitdiffrent. They kindly archived their hide so this one could happen. Please don't ask Sparky or Sid for help and hints. They DO NOT know where to find it. I added their names as credit for the main description.

Please replace the cache exactly as found, as this is a high muggle area. Also, make sure you're current with your tetanus shots.

The location of Jimmy Hoffa's body has led to many urban legends. We've heard that he's buried in Giants Stadium, in the Florida Everglades, in a New Jersey landfill, in a Central Sanitation shredder, and in cement beneath various freeways, bridges and buildings from Michigan to New York. Well, we're here to clear it up once and for all.

On July 30, 1975, Jimmy drove his car to the Machus Red Fox Restaurant in Bloomfield Township, Michigan. Believing the mafia was about to whack him, he swapped cars and got out of town. (He had access to lots of untraceable cars.) He knew they might still find him, so he took some files he had as dirt on the mobsters, as an insurance policy. He cleverly concealed the goods inside his car. He made his way west through Chicago, intending to hide out on a ranch in Montana.

Unfortunately for him, the mafia caught up with him as he was driving through Golden Valley, Minnesota. He sped up, but they were gaining on him! On Golden Valley Road, he lost control of his vehicle near the bridge over the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, and plunged into a ravine.

The impact of the crash killed him instantly. The mobsters went down after him and removed his body. They knew he had some dirt on them, but they couldn't find the goods!

It was much later learned, Jimmy did not die on impact. A hobo camping nearby witness the crash. He came running over to see the wreck and found Jimmy close to death. Jimmy asked the hobo to help him create a container the mobsters could not find. With just a few minutes they created a container that only the finest detective could find. Jimmy asked the hobo to write a secret message on a piece of paper, but he suddenly died. The hobo put the blank piece of paper in the container then hid it. He then heard the mobsters breaking through the brush and quickly hopped a passing freight train. To this day no one has been able to locate the container.

Can you find the container that Jimmy and the hobo created and hid ? If you are the great detective that finds it, please sign the paper within as proof
