[IT:]IL LUOGO:
Del Borgo di Castello di Serravalle (ora parte del comune Valsamoggia) si conserva la Rocca, di origine medioevale, con torre, parte delle fortificazioni e porta d'ingresso al borgo.
All'interno nella duecentesca "Casa del Capitano" è ospitato l'"Ecomuseo della collina e del vino" (Aperto domenica pomeriggio) e in posizione centrale, la neoromanica chiesetta di San Pietro, sopraelevata rispetto alla strada.
Nel borgo si conservano altri luoghi di interesse e di grande bellezza, come alcune torri colombaie, la ricostruzione di un orto medievale, alcuni pozzi (uno ancora visibile pubblicamente, altri all'interno di edifici privati).
Questo borgo è tuttora abitato e nonostante le opere di ristrutturazione è sempre stato tenuto a mente il carattere storico, passeggiando per le uniche due vie di questo piccolo borgo ci si perde nel tempo. Il sito è anche molto pulito e poco trafficato da babbani, l'ideale per una breve passeggiata nel tempo libero.
LA CACHE:
La cache si trova proprio all'interno del borgo, posizionata lungo la pubblica via. E' facilmente raggiungibile e non difficile da trovare perchè in un borgo ristrutturato e così pulito gli elementi "estranei" si notano facilmente, anche se si prova ad occultarli Spero possa risultare invisibile ad occhi babbani, ma non a chi la sta cercando.
[EN:]THE PLACE:
The Castello di Serravalle village (now part of Valsamoggia municipality) keeps the medieval stronghold with tower, part of the fortifications and the gateway to the village. The thirteenth century building "Captain's House" hosts the museum "Ecomuseo della collina e del vino" (Open on Sunday afternoons). Near, centrally located, the neo-Romanesque church of San Pietro, elevated from the road. In the village other places of beauty and interest are preserved, like some dovecots, the reconstruction of a medieval vegetable garden and some wells (one still visible on the road, others are inside private buildings). This village is still inhabited and, despite the renovations, keeps the historic taste of the place. Walking through the only two streets of this small village you feel lost in time. The site is clean and there's very little muggle traffic around, a good place for a short walk in your spare time.
THE CACHE:
The cache is located along the road inside the village. It's easy to reach and not hard to find because in a restored and so clean village extraneous items are easily noticed, even if you try "to hide them". I hope it can be invisbile for Muggles, but not for who are looking for the cache.
