The Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve has a number of peaks and koppies within its boundaries, the highest of which is Perdekop at an altitude of 1575m. Breathtaking views awaits you on top and you can expect to come across all sorts of weird and wonderful scenery along the way. In winter you can also expect snow to dust the higher fields.
A permit is required at R40pp and is available from Webtickets. Note that it is required to leave a copy of your permit visible in your car when parking at the gate and to carry the other copy with you.
