För ett tag informerade jag dig om att allt inte verkade stå rätt till med din cache och bad dig ta reda på hur det stod till och åtgärda eventuella problem. Då det inte syns några tecken på att du gjort det kommer jag nu att arkivera din cache.

Hallå Harry!

Bogserbåten Harry, byggd 1887 på Brynäsvarvet Atlas är en av Lysekils stoltheter, och han huserar här sen 1993. Från början användes han under namnet Korsnäs 1 för att bogsera andra fartyg, pråmar och timmer. Efter 60 års tjänst såldes han och byggdes om rejält. Ångmaskinen byttes ut mot den nuvarande motorn som är en 300hk stark tändkulemotor från Lysekils eget numera nerlagda Skandiaverken. Han har även hetat Arne och Munsö och haft flera ägare på olika ställen i landet, men sen 1974 har han sitt fina namn Harry.

I Lysekil ägs, bevaras och förvaltas han av en lokal idéell förening, som har som syfte att bevara och bruka fartyget med dess klassiska Skandiamotor för att förmedla kunskap om en viktig epok i Lysekils historia samt verka för vidgad kunskap om fartygsvård och utrustning. Harry bedöms som kulturhistoriskt mycket värdefull av Statens sjöhistoriska museer.

Hallå Harry! - Hello Harry!

The tugboat Harry, built as Korsnäs 1 in 1887 at the Atlas shipyard in Brynäs is the pride of Lysekil, he lives here since 1993. During his almost hundred years of active service he's been used to tow other ships, barges and timber. When he was rebuilt in 1950 he got his current 300hp hot-buld engine Skandia engine from the now defunct Skandiaverken in Lysekil.

In Lysekil he's owned and maintained by a local non-profit association, which aims to preserve and use the vessel with its Skandia engine to convey knowledge of an important era in the history of Lysekil as well as promote expanded knowledge about ships care and equipment. Harry is assessed as historically valuable by the National Maritime Museums.
