Geocache Description:

Number 1 of a series of caches hidden near places where once a pub stood, which has been lost over the years. In this case the Pear Tree Bridge Inn which has been turned into flats. At least the building is still standing and has not been demolished.

The Inn was named after the bridge that crossed the Ketley canal that ran in front of the pub, a little north of the present Holyhead Road. Before the Industrial Revolution the area was famed for it's pear and apple orchards.

Bring some tweezers along or you might struggle to get the log out.
