Come and Flash in London!

Bring a Torch to identify yourself as a cacher ... any sort of torch, flashlight, glowstick etc. Switch it on at 6pm.

At precisely 6pm we shall assemble, you'll easily recognise us, I'll be at ground zero with a Golden Retriever dog, he will be wearing a flashing collar, we'll take a group photo, share some refreshments ... sweets (yeh!), swap TBs, chat and disperse 6.30pm.

This will be the eighth year I have held a flash mob at this time of year, the first two were part of the Podcacher Podcast worldwide event, they're resting this time, but we're still up for a spot of flashing, so why not join us?

For the unititiated, a Flash Mob event is a micro event, which takes place at a given time and lasts for a specific time. The idea is that if you arrive early, you blend in and look inconspicuous until the event begins on the stroke of 6 pm. At precisely 6.30 pm we shall disband and go our separate ways. Although in reality some may go off caching or socialising afterwards at a nearby watering hole!

Why not come to London and make a day of it? There are other events on in London on the weekend of this event that might also interest you, use any internet search engine!

Last year we gave away some spot prizes, and once again I have secured a sponsor for prizes for this event. If you wish to take part in the free prize drawing, please bring a small card or piece of paper with your team name on, and these will be used for the draw. (This will also act as the log book (participation optional).

This event usually attracts many cachers from overseas, so a great opportunity to get those trackables moving.
