*** NAMEKAGON LAKE BOAT LANDING ***
The US Forest Service maintains a boat landing and campground at a great Northern Wisconsin lake – Namekagon Lake. This is a great all-round recreational lake and is most known for its fishing. At this landing there is a very nice fishing pier. There is a daily parking fee for using this facility.
The cache is a short step into the woods from the parking lot. However the road to the parking lot through the campground is NOT plowed in the winter. Although winter friendly, snowshoes would be needed to get to the cache or xc skis. Perhaps seasonal access for those without these tools in deep snow.
The logbook must be signed, otherwise there is no proof of your success. BYOP
