International Earth Cache Day - Down and Dirty Event Cache

To Celebrate International Earth Cache Day we will meet at the coordinates to hang out! We will stay at the parking area from 3:00 - 3:30. There will then be an optional cleanup following the event IN the cave from 3:30 - 5:30. NOTE - This location is on private property. The owner asks that all visitors stop at his home (listed as a reference point), pay the parking fee of $3, and register their vehicle. 

If you plan on attending the cleanup in the cave then please wear long pants, close toed shoes, bring 3 sources of light (one primary and 2 back-ups) and a pair of gloves. I will have trash bags and hard hats. I will guide the trip through the "scout loop" in the cave. This is the largest cave in East Tennessee. It's quite amazing! There are no tight crawls in the cave. There is quite a bit of scrambling over slippery rocks and walking through sticky mud. It's always fun!
