it is cooling down out side. backwoods cachers has taken a long rest. while we are still on break we have to up hold our adoptions. starting with our portion of the palmetto trail. this is usually just a short hike between chandler rd. (where we will be meeting) and guilders creek rd. about half mile.
we will walk along clearing any brush or trees off the trails as well as clean any litter that we see while out there. judging on the out come we may split in two groups as we have done in the past and while one tends to the trail the other can walk the road and pick up any litter. any one attending willhave there choice of 2014 or 2015 keep newberry county beaytiful / backwoods cachers path tag.
event will kick off at 9 am and should be over by 10. although we do hang out and chat a while afterwards. as with all backwoods cachers events this is open to any cacher.
so please grab your loppers or hatchets and join the fun.
we will supply cold water, gloves, safety vests, andfor the people collecting litter we will have grabbers.
