Above the line Traditional Cache

Rattlesnake Lake has very low water levels in the summer, exposing a number of tree logs that create a surreal breathtaking scenery. Winter levels are significantly higher, and the lake is an excellent swimming destination through late spring and early summer. The nearby Rattlesnake ledge trail is a must do with its absolutely breathtaking views. 

Note: As of July 2016 this still requires wading due to higher lake levels tis year.

The cache is easily accessible for most of the year, when lake shores are not muddy and the nearby creek is at low level. It is a relatively short off-trail walk from the Cedar Watershed Educational Center. A small gift card included for the FTF. Great views of Rattlesnake Ledge and Mount Si from cahce site. Area has poor data connection on some carriers.
