Geocache Description:

A wheelchair accessible cache on the Long Pond Trail, close to the Elaine Dobbin Center for Autism and The Janeway Hospital.

This cache is just in on the Long Pond Trail, not far from "The Pantry" Cafe which is run by the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador. If you are looking to take someone out for a nice lunch a little above the 'national coffee shop chain' level, you can't go wrong with this spot, while supporting the Autism Society at the same time. The Long Pond Trail is also a great walking trail in the centre of the city, providing a change of pace from The Janeway and the General Hospital nearby.

The cache itself is a small camo screw top jar. Stealth may be required on this popular trail. The cache is hidden within arm's reach of the trail, so once you've made the find make sure you tuck it back in its hiding spot and out of plain view before leaving.  At the time of the hide it contained some child-friendly swag such as toy balls, toy dinos and super magnets, as well as a travel bug to trade for or move along.
