Congratulations on the FTF!

Seems like most geocachers avoid those little blue question marks that appear on their map like the plague. They are really not that scary and some can even be fun! I like to think of the puzzle as a free bonus that allows me to work out the old brain. This is part of a series of easy introductory unknowns intended to encourage non-puzzlers to give it a try. On to the puzzle...

A few of the Gainesville Area Geocachers (GAG) were in the Osceola National Forest last weekend grabbing smileys when the topic of NATO phonetic alphabet came up. Well, sort of. I asked the question "hey what do you call that thing where letters are substituted for words such as apple and bravo?" So it turns out there is an internationally accepted spelling alphabet and it was adopted back in 1956. Wow, you learn something new every day.

The 26 code words in the NATO phonetic alphabet are assigned to the 26 letters of the English alphabet in alphabetical order as follows: Alfa, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Juliett, Kilo, Lima, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform, Victor, Whiskey, X-ray, Yankee, Zulu.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
