The Chirko Glacial Habitat Restoration Area is a 193 acre parcel of land, managed by the WI DNR for the production of nesting birds, wild pheasant, and other non-game song birds.
In an era of ever increasing rural development and disappearing farmland and wetland, these areas are critical for the survival of song birds and other wildlife.
This Room 2 Roam cache is being placed for the beginning of Fall. It is not a Park and Grab, but should be fairly dry most of the year. Enjoy your walk and watch for wildlife.
