During a recent walk around Cotati, Zop and I happened by a rather striking man with a bald head and jet black goatee. Both Zop and I found him to resemble Ming the Merciless. If it weren’t for the black cloak, he would have been a dead ringer. What brought him to our attention, in the first place, was his mumbling and acting like he was in a heated discussion with nobody in particular.
As we walked by we overheard him and found his one-sided discussion quite curious.
“Now wait a minute, you have a lack of perspective…”
With a pregnant pause all of us listened for a response. Only one of us hear it…
He then replied: “It is stupidity, I tell you!"
At this point, Zop and I slowed down in hopes to get the full experience of this conversation while doing our best to not intrude.
He then said: “What do you mean, you have nothing to say to me!?!”
Zop and I were officially intrigued even though we did not have the necessary extra-perceptive powers to be in on this heated debate. Still, we paused in hopes the powers could be obtained by proximity.
“Well, so my solipsism insults you, does it?”
I fancy myself a word-smith, so Zop glanced at me in hopes of getting an idea of what our fellow was saying but I was at a loss.
After a moment he said: “If I didn’t know you better, I would say you suffer from counter-productive pride.”
At that moment he seemed to have lost the debate and with a final outburst declared: “Your herd conformity has turned you delusional!”
With a snap of his cloak, he disappeared into the past .
As for Zop and I, we just giggled and decided to place a cache inspired by our experience.
