This is the third in the series of 4 MVB Baranduda EasyWalk caches. This cache is in a rocky location at 384 metres elevation in the northern end of Baranduda Parklands. Access is off the service road (fire track) behind the houses and requires a 2.0 km walk with about 150 metres of elevation gain up a fire track known as Eagle Fire Track.
This is Baranduda Parklands managed by Parklands Albury Wodonga and Baranduda Landcare who have carried out works to restore this high conservation value remnant grassy forest.
If you are completing the series of four you may well come to this cache from MVB Baranduda EasyWalk2 cache by sidling up a steep lightly vegetated hill across open ground until you reach a fence in disrepair. Cross the fence and continue uphill past the large old stringybark tree. GZ is in a rocky outcrop about 50metres from the tree further uphill.
Take your time to recover from the climb and enjoy the magnificent views over the Leneva and Kiewa Valleys, the Hume Weir and Albury/Wodonga
