Geocache Description:

In body form and size, the coyote resembles a small collie dog, with erect pointed ears, slender muzzle, and a bushy tail. Coyotes are predominantly brownish gray in color with a light gray to cream-colored belly. Color varies greatly, however, from nearly black to red or nearly white in some individuals and local populations. Most have dark or black guard hairs over their back and tail.

Coyote's are not a favorite of the farmers or those with domestic animals, in South Pottawatomie County.  But the houls of them are very well known as the coyote are very common to this parts.  If your crusin down Highway 39 you may notice lots of fence post with the heads or bodies hanging from them due to the over population of them.
