This is a marked ski trail by the local ski association. From Sept 1 to April 30 one can hike all the way west along this route to crown lands that are native pasture, a distance of approximately one kilometer. Once you get into this trail, you will come to an open log type gate. Once you are through this log type gate you are walking on property associated with CES( Camp Easter Seal). Hiking through this open gated area, and hiking into CES for a view of the structures is allowed without permission, but only after camp is closed the end of August. From May 1st to August 30th, do not go through the railed gate mentioned above, unless you want an interview with security personnel. I have purposely placed this cache hide so that this can be hiked to 12 months of the year. It is placed outside of that open gated area. You do NOT need to go through the gate to find this cache. In regards to CES. Camper Easter Seal (CES) is well worth a tour. Drive along the lake front road, past the tennis courts, turn right, and continue on the lake road and then park around their front gate somewhere. From May 1 to August 30th you have to register at their office to obtain permission to do a walk through on the grounds. Review the signage at the front gate for further instructions.
