Geocache Description:

Hunt's Copse is the second in a series of six caches around the Pitton Circular Walk that has been created by the South Wilts Paths Group with assistance from Pitton Parish Council and Wiltshire Council. It is 4.8 mile waymarked trail starting from The Silver Plough at Pitton. Each of the six caches can be visited in their own right, or by following the waymarked trail.

Hunt's Copse Stile

Laminated guides for the walk can be borrowed from The Silver Plough, or the dispenser in front of the Village Hall. Please return them after enjoying the walk. This LINK will take you to the Pitton and Farley website from where you can download a guide to this walk and others in the area. The walk is also waymarked with distinctive white discs, in addition to the Wiltshire Footpath discs.
From Big Logs GC643889, continue straight on across the junction with two other tracks. In Geocaching parlance, “Follow The Arrow”. GZ is when you reach the stile, and the cache, a camoflagued tube, is in a similar place to the previous cache.
After signing the log, please secure the container, ensuring it is water-tight and hide as found; safe for the next visitor.
After enjoying the view over the stile, your next quest is Stairway to Heaven GC6438Q. Enjoy your walk!
