Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

The English language is funny .... not funny-humourous, but funny-weird!

It contains between 750,000 and 1,000,000 words, and yet several words have multiple meanings. These words are known as homographs. For example, the word "trunk" can mean a human torso, an elephant appendage, the main stem of a tree, or car storage space

What follows is a word puzzle about homographs.

First determine the word which describes both of the given words/phrases. e.g. if you are given Spheroid and Formal Dance, the homographic word is Ball. Then perform the necessary calculations to get the coordinates of the final. You'll need to know how to calculate the digital root (DR) and alpha sum (AS) for words to complete the calculations. The number of letters in the homograph is indicated by the 'dashes'.

A. Rubbish / Newborn animals---> _ _ _ _ _ _ . Calculate AS / 12.

B. Nation / Rural area --------> _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . Calculate DR.

C. Smooth / Arrange ----------> _ _ _ _ . Calculate AS / 4.

D. Food / Plank ----------> _ _ _ _ _ . Calculate DR.

E. Ignite / Axe ----------> _ _ _ _ . Calculate (AS - 3) / 5.

F. Coil / Water ----------> _ _ _ _ _ _ . Calculate (AS - 3) / 10.

G. Illustrate / Extract ----> _ _ _ _ . Calculate (AS - DR) / 5.

H. Sovereign / Measurer ---> _ _ _ _ _ . Calculate (AS - 4) / 10.

The final is at N43 5A.BCD W78 0E.FGH.

The final is near parking. There may be many muggles nearby, so please be stealthy! Final is a micro, so please BYOP and write small.

You probably won't need a Geochecker for this one. It's included just to show the location of the final.
